Our Privacy Commitment

Privacy isn't just a policy. It's a promise.

At Solace Moment, privacy isn't simply a legal requirement. It's a promise. Families trust us with some of the most personal moments of their lives. That trust deserves transparency, respect, and protection.

Privacy Is More Than a Policy

At Solace Moment, privacy isn't simply a legal requirement.

It's a promise.

Families trust us with some of the most personal moments of their lives.

That trust deserves transparency, respect, and protection.

Everything we build begins with one simple belief:

Your family's memories belong to your family.

We Collect Only What We Need

We collect information only when it helps provide the Solace Moment experience.

This may include:

  • Account information
  • Contact information
  • Legacy content you choose to preserve
  • Sharing preferences
  • Beneficiary information
  • Organization membership
  • Technical information necessary to keep your account secure

We do not collect information simply because we can.

We collect information because it serves a purpose.

Your Memories Are Not Public

Your stories are never indexed by search engines.

They do not appear in public searches.

They are not visible to strangers.

Every Legacy begins as private.

You decide what is shared.

You decide who sees it.

Your Private Vault

Your Private Vault is your most personal space within Solace Moment.

Only you and the people you specifically authorize may access its contents.

  • Not your sponsoring organization.
  • Not other users.
  • Not the public.
  • Not even Solace Moment personnel as part of normal operations.

Private means private.

We Never Sell Your Memories

Your photographs, voice recordings, videos, journals, documents, and stories are not products.

We do not sell your memories.

We do not sell your personal content.

We do not monetize your family's legacy through advertising or data sales.

Your memories exist to serve your family—not advertisers.

AI Respects Your Privacy

Artificial Intelligence is integrated throughout Solace Moment to assist with preserving memories and improving your experience.

However:

Your personal legacy content is never used to train public artificial intelligence models.

Your family's memories remain exactly where they belong:

With your family.

You Control Sharing

Every Legacy Owner controls who may access their legacy.

You choose:

  • Who can view your memories.
  • Who can contribute.
  • Who becomes a beneficiary.
  • What remains private.
  • What moves into your Private Vault.

You remain in control.

Always.

Organizations Do Not Own Your Legacy

Organizations sponsor participation in Legacy Programming™.

They do not own the content created.

Your sponsoring organization cannot claim ownership of your stories, photographs, recordings, or Private Vault.

Ownership always remains with you and your family.

Privacy Means Responsibility

Because your Private Vault is designed so that only you and the people you authorize can access it, there are situations where Solace Moment cannot recover content that has been permanently deleted or intentionally overwritten.

This is by design.

The same privacy that protects your memories from everyone else also protects them from us.

Whenever an action is permanent, we will clearly explain what will happen before it is completed.

We encourage every user to carefully review these confirmation messages before making irreversible changes.

We Believe Privacy Should Be Easy to Understand

Privacy policies are often filled with legal language.

We think families deserve something better.

That's why we've created our Trust Center—to explain, in plain language, how your information is protected, how your legacy is preserved, and how your privacy is respected.

Transparency builds trust.

Trust builds lasting relationships.

Our Commitment

Privacy is not something we promise because regulations require it.

We promise it because we believe families deserve it.

Every decision we make is guided by a simple question:

Would we trust this platform with our own family's memories?

If the answer is anything less than yes...

We go back and make it better.

Because protecting your family's legacy is not simply our responsibility.

It is our privilege.
