A steward is a trusted person designated to help carry responsibility for access and continuity of a legacy over time. Stewardship is designed to help preserve family access across generations while respecting the account holder's permissions.

Can I download my memories?

Where download functionality is available within your account, memories can be exported or downloaded so families are not limited to viewing their preserved legacy only inside the platform.

Yes. Solace Moment is built around private family preservation. Access is controlled through account permissions rather than unrestricted public sharing.

Are memories guaranteed to be stored forever?

Solace Moment is built for intentional, long-term preservation, but we avoid using the word “forever” as a legal guarantee. Families are also encouraged to use available download and stewardship tools as part of long-term preservation planning.

What happens if I stop subscribing?

Your legacy is not automatically erased. Previously created memories remain preserved and available to you and your authorized family members while Solace Moment continues operating the service, and existing content stays protected according to your account permissions. Can organization staff read residents' private memories?

No. Organization staff do not receive unrestricted access to private family vault content. Staff may help facilitate Legacy Sessions or manage the organization's program, but private memory access remains controlled by the resident and family permissions within the account.

The resident and family account remains the private legacy environment. Sponsoring organizations facilitate access to the program but do not own residents' personal memories.

What happens when a resident leaves the community?

The legacy stays with the family. If a resident moves or the community stops participating, existing memories are not deleted simply because the sponsorship ends. The resident and their authorized family members may continue preserving their legacy through a Solace Moment Personal Plan, and previously created memories remain accessible according to their account permissions.
